Not too shabby, unique vocals (reminds me of Dimmu Borgir a bit), good guitar work.
Their myspace makes it look like a have an agenda...a political agenda, and I don't trust them types in these parts.

I'll keep my eye on them, pretty cool stuff.

Nah I was just kidding, the name of their album made me say that.

They have the potential to be the next Between the Buried and Me, as far as I'm concerned. I've seen them three times, and the first time I'd never heard the music but I was so impressed by their performance that I bought Hiatus from their merch booth. Great live band and really nice guys. I'm also looking forward to the new album. The Death of Pappy Gatmus is sick.

Really like the vocals. They sound really guttural

EDIT: After a bit more listening, their vocals kinda sound like BTBAM in a way. Especially the high screams. They sound like something off of Alaska or TSC.

^Like I've said before, this band could be the next BTBAM. They're from NC as well, and a few aspects of their music are similar.

I'm not sure about that. The last song is obviously the best thing they've ever done, in any form or fashion, but I felt like the rest of the album, plus the production, was fairly meh.

Well I don't know about the production, but I feel that way about a lot of Hiatus haha. Minus I Aim to Misbehave, Save the Cheerleader, and Monuments.

I agree with you MustangMan. Last track was definitely the best one, and the hidden track at the end of it is awesome. It's a cover of Hexagram by Deftones(a band i love). The album overall was good, just not all that memorable.. I'll have to give it more listens. I was kinda busy talking to my gf while listening so that didn't help.

forgot to mention that the vocals are very good

A Kansas City Shuffle and The Death of Pappy Gatmus both stood out, although that probably has a lot to do with them being previously released on myspace. Still, they're both really good songs. I also enjoyed the instrumental track, and A Man Who Has Done Great Works definitely has its moments. And yes, A Box Full of Legos is just ridiculously good.

I'm not nominating it for album of the year or anything, I just quite enjoy it and find it more listenable than Hiatus, even though I like that album too.

RIP.

I love this band. Just relistened to TWOSTWOW (haha) and realized that I like a lot of the tracks more than I thought I did after one listen. Definitely going to their farewell show.

I really like the Sam Jackson clip from Jackie Brown they use in "I Aim to Misbehave" other than that I don't care much for them.

I just learned As A Star Dies... by ear b/c for some reason there's no tabs on this site wtf. That riff in the middle of the song is freaking sweet.

Freaking Epic.

The vocalist wrote this song for his grandmother after she passed away, and this was the song they closed with at their final show.

Well, besides Give 'Em a Little Bit of Shillelagh, but that's different. Haha.

The vocalist hinted that there would be. Also it was kind of lame. There were like 6 bands opening and not a single one of them was even a little bit enjoyable. The venue's sound system was also pretty disappointing. Knives were awesome, though.

I liked My Hero is Me more than wrath even though they kind of fall under the "generic metalcore" category. *shrug* Guilty pleasure. Maybe I'll try listening to them again. I've grown out of metalcore.
