hey im been playing guitar for about a year now but sometimes when i play i get a pain in my hand in the area circled, i was wondernig is common and should i ignor it?

warm up properly and that is a right hand he has shown look at the thumb

and any pain means STOP

actually i`m sure this is a repeat thread.....same photo same question or de ja vu

it depends on the type of pain

it cud jus be u need 2 re-adjust ur hands position or ur usin new muscles from playin more at higher level than u hav been,

i still get aches on my forarm n ive been playin since nov 05 n im quite good(nt 2 brag)

that sounds pretty likely actually, i have tried to step up my playing and you could be right it does feel like that kinda pain now i think about it, cheers
