Ok, so kobiba is a guitar player on youtube and does the best cover of guns n roses songs i have ever heard. Does anyone know how to get his tone for sweet child o mine? And while we are talking about him, what guitar is he using? epiphone or gibson? heres the link. he has a bunch of other song songs on youtube just type kobiba in the search bar. thanks all answers appreciated

It sounds just like Slash's tone, and he uses

Gibson Les Paul, Seymore Duncan pickups
Marshall with a JCM800 (I think?) head.
And you can find his settings on Ultimate Settings thread.

Why are you chasing the tone of a guy who's clearly chasing the tone of someone else? Why not just ask how to get Slash's tone? And I doubt that guy is using a real amp.

I just know he uses an Epiphone Les Paul. He won a competition and got a Gibson SG AC/DC Special Edition thing. Plus, he now has a SWEET Gibson Les Paul Custom he got out the trash and fixed up.

Read somewhere in the comments he used a digital proc. pod or something similar.
