From Wikipedia ;

Yavuz Çetin (September 25, 1970 - August 15, 2001) was a Turkish musician. He was born in Samsun, Turkey. His father, Erdal Çetin, was a journalist, Yavuz spent his childhood in many different places in Turkey.

At the age of 14, he began to take blues and rock guitar lessons from Hasan Cihat Örter. In 1985, he began to play acoustic guitar and later took up the electric guitar. He graduated from the Haydarpaşa High School in Istanbul. With his high school classmate Ercan Saatçi, now a famous musician and a sports journalist, wrote the tune "I Will Cry" and won the music competition of the HEY magazine. He was later admitted to the faculty of music at the Marmara University in Istanbul.

Between 1980s and 1990s, Çetin played at the Beyaz Ev (White House) in Bodrum. In 1991, he formed a band named "Blue Blues Band", together with Batu Mutlugil, Kerim Çaplı and Sunay Özgür. From 1996 to his death he played guitar with the famous band Mazhar-Fuat-Özkan at many concerts.

He collaborated in various albums with artists such as Teoman, Kıraç, Sibel Tüzün, Soner Arıca, Göksel, Deniz Arcak and Acil Servis. In Göksel's hit song "Sabır", he was the first Turkish guitar player to use a Talk box. His solo in Deniz Arcak's "Bırakın Beni" from the Kıpır Kıpır album is the last studio session he recorded in. His mastery to rock and blues guitar tradition is quite obvious in his solo on this song. The solos of this was recorded with a couple of rehearsals and on the first take.

He worked on many advertisements, including Coca-Cola's spot, and his tune "Dünya"(the World) has been chosen as part of Erkan Oğur's "Propaganda" movie soundtrack.

In 1997, with the production of Ercan Saatçi, published his first album "İlk ve Son..."(Once for All...) but the album couldn't achieve a good success.

Due to deep depression and difficulties to stand the frenetic city life, on August 15, 2001, he committed suicide by jumping from the Bosphorus Bridge. After his death the album "Satılık" (For Sale) was published using the recording which Yavuz completed in the last days of his life.
