They look like there indepenently made and not mass produced, also the descriptions state there professinoanly set up, I think these guitars are all very nice and love them so much im considering buying one if my Stagg is an absoloute piece of ****.

It know these are no Ibanez but there guitars have some convincing customer reviews and it states that the guitars are set up by a professinonal with over 35 years experience.

Like is said, look for youselves....

The third one is mega sexy, Im so tempted.....

I already have amps but the guitars themselve look like works of arts when compared to a standard fender....

PS: Im sorry for all my posts lately, this is actually an important post.

I'm very wary of the prices. Either this guy's practically being stolen from (and doesn't care) or they're trash.

One glimspe at the sellers feedback would suggest hes getting ripped, Ive decided im buying off him, the third one of the first green one I liste. IM NOT HAVING A PRO BRAND MAKE, **** THOSE THINGS, IBANEZ, FENDER... Who cares? There names, its all about the love and art treatment... ISH... The fact is Wesley Guitars are not hugely mass produced, im guessing Fenders are?

Bottom line is they are pretty inexpensive. If you're willing to take the risk of loosing a little bit of cash, you might get lucky and get a decent guitar.

If it's a crappy guitar, at least it looks cool, you could hang it on your wall and call it ART.
Maybe let your kid have it some day...

I say it's worth the risk for that little amount of money.

I like what Wesley do. I've got one of their acoustics and I've played most of the other guitars they make, except for the new weird models they came out with a couple of months ago.

On the one hand, they are full of flaws. On the other hand, some of them cost as little as £60. They used to sell new Wesley guitars through their own official eBay store too and you could get them at bargain prices (as if the prices weren't low enough already).

The main things they fall short on are the pickups and the detailing. I've never seen a bad finish or bad wiring or a bad neck on them or anything - however on every single one the fretboard inlays have been applied terribly (often there are huge cuts out of the fretboard where it looks like the guy operating the router was drunk when he did it) and their pickups are always terrible noisy (even the humbuckers) and muddy.

But hey, where else can you get a rear-routed Thinline Tele with twin P-90s and a set neck for under £100?
Yes, I know everything. No, I can't play worth a damn.

I wouldn't believe everything on the web page. It's a good looking cheap guitar for those on the eastern side of the atlantic.

Upgrade the hardware and electronics, and you might have a good beater guitar, but it's not going to compare to a custom shop fender, or any of the other numerous small-company luthiers out there right now.

www.xe.com is a fairly good currency, they do world wide shipping.

Sofar this one looks my fave as it has a video and it looks decent and unique, plus it sounds great:

Dude you haven't played one. You've only read their own reviews for their guitar and (most likely) paid testimonies.

80% of youtube comments are made by complete idiots or frauds. 15% are made by spammers and scammers. 5% are made by educated people making educated statements. I seriously doubt theres a guitar under $100 that plays better than an expensive Fender (or even my Schecter for that matter). I havent played one...but I think this is a pretty fair statement to make.

And there just the low end Wesleys, of course Im not stating these are better than Fenders, but nothing can deny the fact Fenders are greatly over priced.

At least when you buy a Fender you can be certain about what you're buying and have a pedigree to match. As with any guitar under $100 you buy what you pay for. Second, you can make nearly any guitar sound decent if you play it through the right amp. Third, you have no idea how durable those things all. Hell, you don't really know how they feel period. They could break in a week or they could last for years, you just don't know.

Also bear in mind, though those demo videos are impressive, you have no idea if the guitar has been left stock or what amp they're using or how the sound is being recorded or anything.

how many here actually HAVE a $3000 (insert brand here)? and isn't a guitar collector, but an actual player? If you get lucky you may get a good quality instrument, but that seems like a gamble according to MrFibble's previous post. Luckiliy they cost next to nothing, so you're not that far down the hole.

AND you've never tried them and you're basing your opinions of YOUTUBE comments?

You're much better off paying maybe 2x as much and getting an Agile. Then you KNOW you're getting a good guitar.

We're going to hell for hackling a beginner aren't we...

OK. It's fine to get excited over a cheap, good looking guitar.BUT before you get overly excited and tell the world with a plethora of YT links do some research that doesn't include the own companies website.

Just for future reference...

Wesley are an English company, primarily serving England. Do you know how hard and expensive it is to get an Agile in England?

I'm not saying Wesley are better or even as good as Agile, just that they're not a viable comparison as they're two different products serving two different markets.
