Go see U2, then you can say you contributed money to Bono's giant Irish tower built out of the blood, tears, and the hopes of African children.

the hurricane: bob dylan, more so addresses the issue of racism and the justice system which technically is "power'
but "power" is very vague.

Power as in any kind of power. e.g. political, the power of god etc. but not electrical power.

well, the thing is, almost any song can be interpretted as to be about power. it all depends on how you view the song. What some of us may consider power, you might not. I mean, when it comes down to it, you can even ignore the lyrics and just talk about the song dynamics and how they are powerfull by themselves.

Helter Skelter is about a slide that Paul McCartney was afraid of when he was a kid.

But Helter Skelter itself as a song represents power IMO

Perhaps you can use Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" as representation of lack of power.

Also, Blondie's "Rapture" has some pretty good descriptions of power.

And Regina Spektor's "Samson" has some pretty strong examples if you don't mind doing some complex interpreting.

A lot of Megadeth songs, Countdown To Extinction has a good few on there

John Mayer's "Belief" has a line about power. Studio it's "Power is made by power being taken," and live it's "Power is made by pure manipulation." I know there are plenty of better examples, but that's what popped into my head first.

State Radio has a bunch. "Camilo," "Democracy in Kind," "CIA," "Gunship Politico," "Guantanamo," and "Unfortunates," are all at least closely related to power.
Dispatch has "Time Served," and that's all I can be arsed to think of.

I forgot about Marley and Rage, they have some good ones.
Only play what you hear. If you don’t hear anything, don’t play anything.
