Has anyone seen or tried this it's new to me but I have been without internet since 07. Looks to like they would just scratch off if a string got under them.

I've also seen them, they look cool, and the string shouldn't hit the fretboard, but I can see sweat being a problem...

They look too thick to me...

I believe in the "personal opinion" school of thought, I doubt you've heard of it. Now, go waste your time on something that doesn't annoy me

I've actually always wondered if sweat would remove them. They look like a good idea but I'm kinda worried about that.

My first guitar still has residue from an unfortunate ranch dressing incident

I played this guitar once. It unleashed the ****ing fury and I got kicked out of Guitar Center.

I have them.

They are pretty resiliant, but heavy bending may pull up the edges of pointy ends after a few months. They come off rather easily just by scraping them off with a knife edge. They are very worth the purchase, and quite a talking point for with other musicians.
