Hello everyone

I purchased these from a lady I contacted through a craigslist post. I wasn't able to find the guitar online (like on b.c rich website) and then my sister commented that they look small as though its for a kid. So I hope these are worth the $240 i spent on them, doesnt anyone know what model these are?

All the info I she posted was that its a B.C Rich Bronze Warlock Bass and a Samick S101 Standard
Someone let me know please.

That doesn't look like a bass to me.

I wouldn't pay $240 for those. Why buy 2 crappy starter guitars?

I wouldn't have spent that much, I mean I'd rather get 1 good guitar (or at least better) than 2 starter guitars with that $240.

That Warlock is even lower standard than the regular metal master warlock, which isn't even a bass...

I'ld say those 2 shouldn't be more than 150 bucks tops.

they're the right size, but you have to be some how mentally ill not to know that a bass has 4 strings, and that BC Rich has 6.

Well first off does your sister know much about guitars? Because they look regualr size to me in comparision with the couch. Second, the BC is not a bass- the lady has no idea what she's talking about and she has no idea when it comes to price too. I wouldn't pay more than 125 for all of it to be honest. The guitars are poor quality too. Ok if you one to kick around.

Cosign.

Unless you just expect to waste her time, then play it and it's some diamond in the rough, don't buy from people who call a guitar a bass lol

Damn, I figured with research and a bit of common sense you can't get ripped off on Craigslist.

You sir have proven me wrong. Wow and wait till you see my ngd for the guitar I got for $50 and a pedal last night off of Craigslist. That should piss you off

Do your research
When in doubt, ask UG and we would have helped you put that money to something better .... a lot better

Say it with me...Ask before you buy. You got screwed.
Seriously, I'm in the band.

I dont get this...you couldn't find the guitars online but you bought them anyways. Without any research and only a few crappy photos to go by you decided to spend $240. This woman obviously didn't know anything about guitars (BASS?!?) and maybe you didn't either... BASS?!?!. Now you're stuck with two starter guitars that won't resell for anything close to what you spent on them. Finally, you decide to come to UG AFTER you made the sale to see if you got a good deal or not.

Did I pretty much sum this up pretty well?

Man, I could go for a 7 right now...

I think everyone has already said what I was going to, but let me add in my most recent Craigslist purchase if I may.

2001 MIM Fender Strat, mint condition
Yamaha pacifica beginner guitar (I sold this to Guitar Center for $100)
Crappy Fender amp (I sold to my friend for $20)

Bought for $220 - (100+20) = $100.

Yes, I bought a Fender Strat for basically $100 after I sold everything else. It's a great guitar, my main one. You sir, spent $240 too much on two crappy guitars.

Your best bet= find someone else who doesn't know much and sell them to him/her. Then, come back here and ask what guitar you should buy for $240.
I'm not a Bible-thumper anymore. Realized I had a brain in '09.

I like guitars, running, and math.

Nice deal! I love selling/trading and upgrading off of CL

And TS, it took me less than ten seconds to google BC Rich Bronze and your guitar came right up. Really, not that hard.

did you research at ALL before you bought them?

One on the right is one of those crappy strat lookalike guitars. You can get that and an amp for like $100. The one on the left isn't good either. Definitely shouldn't buy it.
There be no shelter here.

I guess i did make a bad move... There goes 240 dollars. Anyway that I can find them online in a store or something, just to be sure?

Thanks for all the input.

Yeah you did. Do some research or ask UG next time.

Can't find the Samick S101 for sale, but google shows that one is selling on craigslist for $65

Why the frick would you buy stuff and then ask whether its worth it, its too late now and you will have to deal with the fact that you've wasted your money.
