Trivium.
I think its time to pack your things lets go,
To a place where we both know,
And dont worry, I'll drive real slow,
Spend some time before we go..

Han shot first. Greedo's dead.

Depends on your song selection of each band.
When you saw me sleeping
thought I was dreaming
of you...

I didn't tell you
That the only dream
Is Valium for me

IN FLAMES! Seriously, since In Flames are influenced by Maiden a lot, you can do a tribute to both... Sort of. But you must play older In Flames. I must hear Jotun!

In Flames

Trivium's and Maiden's vocals just don't appeal to me.

Plus, Melodic Death pretty much laid down the foundations for metalcore, studying some early IF rif***e will help you when you start composing your own songs.

trivium....so something from shogun album...... Like Callisto to a start in heaven is pretty easy and easy to sing to too

If he wanted something easy to sing, I think they'd choose The Crusade album over Shogun, but the intro riff to 'Shogun' is awesome, and Throes Of Perdition would be a great song to play.

Trivium! play Kirisute Gomen, or something off the crusade, maybe Anthem? something catchy and fun. If your a screamer, do some old stuff, off ascendancy or something

Anthem (We Are The Fire) FTW!!!

Or play Pull Harder...

Is you're drummer good at double kicks? (I think that's what they are, not a drumming nerd here :P

I chose all three.

But, it's a toss-up between Iron Maiden and In Flames for me. You could do something like Hallowed Be Thy Name, which would be brilliant.

If you do an In Flames cover, please stick to their old stuff; not their recent sell-out metalcore rubbish. Do a cover of something from Whoracle or The Jester Race.

Ember to inferno (the song) is also really cool to play and solo is simple and just all round fun to play haha

Ember To Inferno's chorus is orgasmic.

You know what all 3 bands have in common?
They were heavily influenced by Maiden...well, except maiden, cause they started it but...yeah, whatever, go with maiden.
I see you're not using the UG black theme

Huh? So basically you've got a choice of one of the most legendary metal bands ever, versus a bunch of young minks who wish they were Metallica, versus a bad attempt at melodic death metal? The choice is easy dude!
