I'm currently running my JCM on about 12 o'clock on the volume and it's pretty useable. I was lurking the other day and noticed someone saying this could be a problem with the amp? Also I have to leave the thing on for about 15-30 mins before any sound comes out of it, sometimes have to let it warm up on standby, switch off standby and switch the amp on and off until it will make some noise. Is this something serious?

The shop I got it from said it'd just had new tubes fitted, although they did seem a little dodgy..
I'll get it checked over by my local shop when I get back from my holiday. Anyone got any idea how much it'd cost me to replace the tubes on a 100W amp? Money won't be a problem but I'm trying to save up for driving lessons & tests.
