Hey guys.

After playing a crappy 80$ guitar for a few months, I bought a proper guitar today. The Ibanez Artcore . It´s a semi-acoustic guitar and I´m in love with it.

So what do you guys think, was it a good buy?
Greetings!

When I was purchasing my Schecter I took a good look at that exact guitar. I fell in love with the neck, very wide for my big hands. Played beautifully too. I must say, good purchase. Seemed like a quality instrument and I have three buddies with electric Ibanez's and never heard about any problems from them.

Ha cool so I made a good purchase! I already knew it when I played it first time but wanted to be sure. This is so much better then the discounter-strat I had before.

I got the one with bigsby-like tremolo and in cherry red, not sunburst, but there are no pictures of this version on the internet. :P

@ metalhead: Wow I heard the blue-sunbursts are pretty rare.

Definitely good purchase.

One thing though, the AS73 doesn't come with a bigsby. Sounds like you got a Ibanez Artcore AFS75T. I think you have the one linked below. Freakin' gorgeous by the way.

It's pretty cool, I asked UG what would be a good guitar for me that I can play bluesy/jazzy stuff that doesn't look like it screams metal and some suggested the Artcore series. That day I hit up craigslist and found mine in dead mint condition for $225. Beautiful guitars and they play super well. Enjoy!!

Yeah thats almost my guitar. :P Mine has double cutaways though. Rest is the same as in your link. Pretty strange that I cant find pics of my exact version. :P I´m mainly practicing White Stripes stuff cause it´s not too hard to learn and this guitar fits awesome to the sound. I´m more then content.

Ahha, I now change my link and think this is yours. Actually, I'm damn positive since you started out saying it was an as73. This one is the AS73T model

Yeah I play mine mainly acoutstically. I want a better clean amp to plug into.
