Hey, not sure if this is the right place to post this.. anyways. I've seen steve vai's 10 hour workout mentioned a bunch of times so i decided to check it out. I dont by any means plan on practising 10 hours a day, but I was wondering which exercises people feel are the most helpful/ how long should be spent on each. and maybe I'm missing something because it doesnt look like 10 hours worth of practice material to me anyway.. thanks
I like his chromatic exercises, but I would never take the time to practice all of them everyday. The rest to my knowledge was some arps and some scale patterns. I like rock discipline more, but even then I just took what I wanted out of it and set it to my routine.
