Hey guys,

I am a little unhappy with the sound of my:

It just seems a little tinny and shallow.

I am looking for some advice on what pickups I might want to look at. This guitar is used primarily for my 80s music (Bon Jovi, etc.) I still need to squeal up a storm, but a little warmth would be nice. I also don't want anything active.

Thanks!

Seymour Duncan JB bridge + Jazz neck, or Dimarzio Super Distortion bridge + Super 2 or PAF neck. Those are a few HH combinations that were pretty popular back in the 80s. I'm fairly certain that Richie Sambora used Duncans back in the day, though, if that helps any.
