After all I decided NOT to buy the Orange PPC 212 CB + Orange Dual Terror, simply because it's way too expensive for me.

Does anyone know an other tube stack for a lower price but still good quality?

I play metal, experimental, (math)rock, progressive etc.

Bands like The Fall Of Troy, Rage Against The Machine, The Blood Brothers, Alexisonfire etc.

I live in the Netherlands

Thank you.

Blackstar HT-5 for a head.

I can't really give you a cab manufacturer without a location.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

Well, the Orange stack costs about a 1100 € total.
So I'd say 700 €.

blackstar ht 5 head with a harley benton v30 2x12 , head is the best in its price range, cab sounds good but doesnt have the best build quality, but its 200 euro only so quality wise you get whats expected, and if you are planning to keep it home most of the time it should last for a long time

it will be 600 euro total , so maby you get some cash over to get a overdrive pedal for it also

Would one of the more tame ENGLs be in your price range, perhaps? Like the Screamer or Thunder, perhaps with a boost?
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

Head and Cab for $130? You don't need a head and cabinet, you need a psychological examination.

And what about the quality, reliability and does it suit my style?
Can I play gigs with it?

Are you willing to buy a combo instead of a stack?

Depends. I'd prefer a stack.

it very much limits you, is what I'm getting at. unless you can find a good deal in the netherlands, or find a seller from the uk willing to ship to europe, amps like the bugera 6262, laney gh50l, peavey valveking, and a randall rh 50 t, combined with a cheap cabinet is about your only option.

You should check www.feedback.nl out, it's a pretty big music store here.

This is an awesome music shop in The Netherlands. I can't read the one you've linked me, unfortunately.

You have Thomann, Music Store and Music Productiv of course. They're all based in Germany.

"Posting in a reported thread" (telling people not to post since it'd been reported multiple times)

my first warning was perfectly justified and if it was that warning that'd got me banned i'd be fine with it, but i think this one's a bit stupid to ban over. i pm'd the mod that'd done it so.. we'll see.

off to HCFX in the mean time, haha
