I was told to make just one thread with what guitar I should get so here it goes.

Budget: £120.00 (I guess I could step this up a little but not by much)
Style: I like Hard Rock and Metal (GnR, Black Sabbath, Bon Jovi)

I already own two amps, 1 is an elevation EG-10J and the other is a BB BLASTER. I dont belive I need a new amp as our school has pro amps and the ones I have at home are just intended for practise.

Im no longer botherd about looks, just playability and sound.

Im not asking for any big names just yet, but if you guys think I should aim for a Fender or an Ibanez please suggest them.

Like Im saying, im pushing my pennies at the moment and 120£ is all I can stretch, Id say this is my seccond "Real guitar".

My first guitar is an encore les paul but its in a batterd state =(

Like I said this is my last ever "Which GUITAR" thread and Id really apprechiate any advice.

Sorry for all my posts before by the way =\

Okay, Ive seen one of those before, nice stuff. Thanks for reminding me which one it is.

Ill add that to the possible list.

Ive recently taken interest in those Telecaster guitars, I think there pretty awsome looking, could I get a good telecaster on a 120£ budget?

The VS-6 is a risk, some people love then when they get them, from a personal experience they're not great guitars (even for the price) the feel amazingly flimsy and cheap ... muddy sound overall

TS how long have you actually been playing?

Given the amount of time you've been playing along with the gear you currently own, I'd suggest sticking with what you have and saving up for a better budget.

For £120 you're still in starter guitar range, get your budget up to about £400 if possible and spend the time between actually playing.

Yes, You don't need to get a new guitar unless something physically breaks or you need to get rid of something usually hard to change (neck shape/bridge type).

Look at it this way

I had this guitar

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tF21ZsR0xm8

for 4 years as my main guitar, it cost me £400 and now it's used as a gig backup the Jackson I bought just a while ago.

I made the mistake of buying lots of other cheap guitars during those 4 years and all it did was drain funds and take up room in my house, plain and simple.

If I hadn't bought those other guitars I'd be sitting with the PRS Custom I'm planning to buy next year.

if your after playability and sound you are gonna seriously struggle with £120...i spent more than that on a wah wah pedal yesterday (i`m not gonna start a npd thread but it was a big bad wah-£129)

back on topic you need to start looking around the £250 - £500 mark before you start seeing some resembelence of quality.

where in the uk are you(region) i`m selling a epiphone sg 310 for £80 it`s slightly battered(cosmetically) but plays nice and needs a new selector switch cos the stalk snapped it`s still switchable though.

Well if your really into Telecasters, and REALLY want a new guitar...
http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Squier-Affinity-Series-Telecaster-Special?sku=515115
then that may be your best option. If I were you though, I would either sell something you have, or just save up, and buy a mid/lower-mid leval guitar.
