hey if I decide to get a new head for my set up, it can be a different brand than my cabinet and still work properly right? i think it can i just want to make sure and hear from anyone that's done it.

it probably wouldnt work if it mixed tube *head* and non-tube *cab* though right?

edit: added detail, my head and cab are both non-tube right now.

???

yes it will work, as long as the impedance of the head matches the cab, most heads are switchable these days anyway.

I think you have to match up the correct voltage/ohm outputs, but i know different brand heads will work with different brand cabs and vice versa.

Somewhere in a concert hall in Sweden, you have just caused Yngwie Malmsteen physical pain. You also caused him to catch on fire.
