I'm running my guitar through a Korg AX1G effects pedal into a vintage style Crate amp, with Celestion speakers. I never really used the amp with the pedal a lot and never very loud, just playing by myself.
The pedal ups the volume a lot when I play through it (I can turn the output volume down though), because the practice amp I use won't go loud enough with the band unless the output is fairly high. I was wondering if the volume would have any negative effects doing this with the Crate tube amp. The volume on the actual amp is much lower than what actually comes out of it because of the pedal.

So will having the output of the pedal raised have any negative effects on the amp, and should I turn output down and raise volume of the amp?
