I am not that familiar with vintage amps and have a simple question. I am thinking of buying a 70s Fender Twin Reverb Cab. Will it fit my Fender FM 100H Head? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Do you mean is it wide enough to put the head on top of? The word "fit" threw me. Like acdcrocks0323 said, you want the ohms to match or be greater on the cab than the head puts out. Although matching ohms is optimal.
I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.

So basically you would want a good clean tone and a kinda dirty/ratty sounding drive channel? A used Flextone III 1X12 would probably be great and could handle gigs. Can you up your budget by selling the FM 100H or is that already included?

EDIT: Flextone II, $250. http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/msg/1273399822.html

I could up my budget if we're talking combos, I already have a Peavy head/cab set up that im not so happy with right now that I can sell.

What's the Peavey head/cab? But that Flextone I linked to should work fine, and it's $100 under your current budget.

I wasn't aware Fender ever marketed a TR as a cab. Afaik, it was a combo amp.

classic 30/112. It's pretty nice on clean, but without a pedal for anything else you have a pile of crap. IMO.

You could probably sell that for a few hundred bucks and get a used Fender Deluxe and Big Muff or something like that for Garage Rock.
