I love to play classic rock, the mainstream stuff as anyone would expect, like Randy Rhoads, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Metallica and so on. I have a peavey classic 30, which is good for hard rock. Anyways, which pedals would be nice for a classic type rig? I have a wah, and a dd-3. Any other suggestions would be great.

Yeah maybe a good overdrive would be good to push your amp harder, I don'T, maybe a chorus? Also a nice fuzz is always nice to have in his rig

Zakk Wylde OD is an overpriced BOSS SD-1 clone that is way less reliable.

Tubescreamer sounds good. Chorus? Tuner pedal never hurts. Flangers are cool.

I dont know. Im always looking at OD pedals and such, but I dont see the point in them. They really do nothing but improve distortion, right? I guess when I get a pedal, I want it to do something not ordinary.

Get an EQ. You can improve your tone more with one of those than an OD.

they do much more than that. They Tighten up the sound and boost the mids as well. Works great with american amps

Agreed to an eq pedal. shape your sound better.
even a clean boost can do wonders to your sound

OD pedal or a Chorus pedal would be my suggestion. Chorus pedals sound great and are fun to play with IMO.
