So what do you think of Minarik guitars?

Just trying to hear some input because i love the look of them.

Anyone know one of their cheapest models?

To each his own. Lol.

I just like them because they stand out. They do, imo, have a few ugly models... but for the most part i like their looks.

Yeah, I think they're ugly as hell. But I've heard very good things about them. I think the Lotus is in the sub 500 range.

They look like really nice guitars....
but it looks like they are trying WAY too hard to make something cool

when IMO they aren't that cool

some pretty cool ideas though

Very true. Hey, is there any way i can get a price listing of all of the guitars from Minarik?

I was either going to make an original this summer or buy one of these if it fits the budget.

Apparently the shapes are specifically built with the tuning of the hollow chambers in mind, so each specific part of the shape serves a purpose that enhances the tone of the guitar.

Or that's what the SAY... Some of em are pretty cool, but I wouldn't buy or play one
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

That's what I read about their guitars as well. So if you look at guitars like the Samhain or Inferno, those horn thingys are supposed to improve resonance and the tone of the guitar.

Honestly I think they look over-designed, ugly and try too hard. Wouldn't be caught dead with one of them. Shame though, their woods and finish look really nice.

I'd definitely play the Hello Kitty Squire over these guitars.

The only one that really interested me was that 9 string V. It doesn't even look that good, i just want to play a 9 string.
