Hey,

Just looking at cheap bass guitar's and i'm trying to pull together a short list of possibilities for one to get to learn over the next 7 weeks and

possibly take with me to university. I'm not after anythign special just somethign that'll tide me over afor a bit.
I play electric guitar by day so this is just an extra thign for on the side.

Style's i'd like to play would be varied from Jazz to indie but i think i'd be mostly playign rock e.g guns'n'roses and all the rock classics etc.

So far i have these - what do you think? I'd say budget is tops of 200 but ideally 150(GBP£. Also amp wise i just need something small that works

- no need for bells and whistles

Squier Affinity P-Bass

Yamaha RBX170

Wshburn T14B

Bass/guitar pack thing from local shop ~ £180 - never heard of the make tho :S

Thanks
Chris

Squier affinity. Way better than the guitars.

This, although a standard or VM squier might be a better investment in the long run.

its too punchy and plus its a squier which results in undefined Punchy sounds which
which dont sound jazzy at all.

I think you need to stop caring what people think about it. I stayed home all day today and masturbated like 5 times. Fucking blast.

So do I. I play Jazz on my precision clone with flats all the time. Any one who says nay needs to learn to EQ properly.
