I'm worried. It's making this weird noise. It sounds like a really high pitched revving noise when I stop playing or suddenly mute the strings. If you have ever played sonic adventure 1 or 2 when you get into a ball and rev up is basically what it sounds like.

I don't have it very loud. It's a Line 6 120 Watt Solid State amp. Currently I am on green insane and my settings are
8.5 drive
7 bass
3 mid
8.5 treble.
Master volume is on 1
Channel volume is on 3.

I am playing through a digitech rp80, but I'm not using the pedal and just letting it bypass. I am playing a Squier Bullet single coil pickups, maple neck. I'm thinking it might be because of the single coils, but it seems odd that it would do that all of a sudden. It could be part of the cycle hum though I'm guessing.
