wikipedia says asia so it's more than likely china, taiwan, indonesia or korea, whilst the high end models that are $1000 upwards would be made in california

It depends on the model. The cheaper ones (under $1000) are made in China I think (or at least they used to be made there). Until last year there used to be a series (I don't remember the name) which were much better that were made (I think) in Poland (they costed about $1200). And there's of course the good old BC Rich Custom Shop, the one who makes the real ones, in USA (easily over $3000 but well worth it).

EDIT: No, the $1000 ones are made in Asia too.

The USA ones are made in USA

The calibre series are made in eastern europe.

The NJ Deluxe guitars are made in korea (just go on ebay and look for sellers who had taken photos of the back of the head stock. Clearly says made in korea.

The under 500$ stuff is made in china. Checked ebay photos.
