I'm getting a Schecter omen 6, to play metal sort of stuff etc. I need something thats relatively cheap and great for room play and will give me a good sound.

Budget - £100 could go over.
Location - Live in england so probably wont know many cities.
Used - I dont really mind.
Examples - Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, A Day To Remember.

there aren't many amps available in your budget
if you could increase it in anyway it would be nice

please don't
choose the vypyr over that
not jsut because of the general hate for them on this forum
but because the vypyr will have much more gain the mg will have nowhere near enough for parkway drive and august burns red

as i said in my earlier post, vypyrs > MGs

My opinion on the four mentioned amps...

MG15 - No. Decent for practice, but not for metal, at all.
Vypyr - Arguably best metal amp for under $100 (modeling). I didn't like it too much, but it is good for what it is.
Vox AD/VT - Great amp, but not great for metal.
Roland Cube - Really good amp, but I didn't like it for metal, but others find it great.

Vypyr or Cube, try both out, see which you like.
I'd go with the Vypyr, personally.
