I'd like to give me some advice about which guitar to buy.
Information or comparisons are welcome. Also some sites where i can find prices would be fine.

Thanks for your help

i dont know a good answer. but ill ask some questions because i know someone else will and im just doing them a favor really :P

what amp do you have?
what music/genre do you play?
and what is your budget?

reasons for asking: you may have better options than what you are considering.

definetely tele for country.

I feel weird, I'm not gay but I was trying something pretty gay earlier today. I put some buttered corn on the cob up my butt and jerked off to tranny porn (seemed most appropriate). I know I didn't like it now but I feel kinda gay for trying...

go with american standard, im not a fender player, but from what ive heard from my friend, there is considerable difference between the mexican and american, and the latte are much more playable

Either guitar would suit your purposes, just a matter of sitting down and playing them. One isn't inherently better than the other. I used to own an American Standard Strat, which eventually got stolen from me, and I replaced it with an American Deluxe Telecaster.

I don't know US prices, but i don't think his budget really accomodates Americans...

i cant really tell the difference tonally its too close (at least for my ears)
i like the tele body more, however the bridge pickup and the plate annoy me
i had a strat and it is good for country music, the occasional blues if u like em, so is the tele tho
in the end id go with a tele

theres a lot of teles and strats on www.musiciansfriend.com
so check em out c which 1 u like, or try it at ur local guitar center

There are so many different models it's impossible to compare them. There are teles and strats with two hbs, three singles, h/s/s, different neck materials, fretboard radii, etc.

You're going to have to go to a music store and play some different models and variations, here's a start http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender,Solid-Body-Electric-Electric-Guitar.gc?o=1

The only difference between everything is the body shape and the fact that the strat has a trem and the tele is a string through. Pretty much everything else can vary between models
