Ok. I'm not building guitars or amps or anything but I've got some questions on truss rods.

1. Will I ruin my guitar by tuning very low, like drop A#, because of truss rods?
2. Do I need my guitars set for different tunings?

That's all for now. PLEASE ANSWER!!!!

1. youll need some crazy heavy strings like 12's
2. intonation will need to be set every time tuning is changed

First off You don't need to change the Truss tightness everytime you change the tunning thats just a ludicrious statement. Its perfectaly fine to down tune without changing the truss position sure its best to do that if your guitar will be in that tuning its whole life but for anyone with one instrument that means a new tunning every other song and its just impractical to adjust the truss everytime you do so.
Second 12's those are childs play my Tremolo equiped guitar has those on it.

I'm using Gibson 10s. They work nicely.
