ive got dimebag high voltage DR 10-52s on my drop C guitar and its PERFECT. half a step lower than that shouldnt make too much difference. if you like your strings really tight and dont do a lot of bends, maybe go to 11-54s or whatever the next gauge up is, otherwise id reccomend the DR 10-52s. they last for a long time too. nice avatar by the way.

i used DR Jeff Healey 10-56's and those worked great. It pretty much depends on the guitar tho... either way, get it setup for the new strings
