This is not to poke fun at anyone learning guitar, but I came across this today and thought I'd share it with you all for a laugh.
Oh Jimmy what were you on?
Whatever it was, I don't want any!
Maybe you know a worse solo by a pro? Let's hear it.
I pick up my guitar and play

Led Zep videos form the late 70's. Jimmy was pretty ****ed up in a lot of the vids I watched. He could barely play.

eek! well, maybe he sounded that bad on purpose?

i remember seeing the guy from limp bizkit 'solo' and it was terrible. he thought he was good, which just made it hilarious. i'm not sure, but i think he counts as a professional.

well, as professional as you can be when you're in a band called limp bizkit :P

EDIT: dang, beaten to it.

He said by a "professional". Fred doesn't count in that category.

He gets paid to do it - he's a professional. Fred for the win/fail (depending on how you look at it).

"This video proves once and for all that Freddy is one of the most underated musicians in modern music. Not only can he rap AND sing, he can play really fast shred guitar. Amazing and inspirational. "

That was almost as funny as the title. "Fred Shred". I couldn't stop laughing.

I think it's of Tom Morello, because some dude a while back said he approved despite his avatar (which was Tom Morello). I'm just guessing, I can't see it either.

EDIT: Well, there you have it.

dude he was just relearning guitar after having been partially paralyzed.

It's kinda impressive to see considering his doctor told him he would never play guitar again because of his condition

Why do people worship that guy?

Because

Despite millions of people claiming he layers his sound with effects, his rig is simple as hell.

Despite all the quirky solos, he's actually very technically proficient.

Also, despite the quirky solos again, he's written some great ones.

Not to mention that he's a master at great sounding rock riffs.

Also, he didn't really learn guitar seriously till he was in college.

Win.

I think its just his innovation of the guitar that makes him appeal to a lot of musicians.
No one said he was a shredder, so why bag him out cause he isn't.
