so i have about 400 bucks to spend on a new amp. i've been looking at the Blackstar HT Series, but i'm not sure if i should get the combo or the half stack. both of them are the same price...also open to suggestions for other amps.

combo:

go with the half stack. more features like the headphone/line out output jack. this way you can practice with your headphones on.
We all started at the bottom. Unless you were Hendrix. It is a fact that he popped out of his mom with a guitar in his hands. I've seen the video!

If you can afford it, the head through a better cab with V30s sounds amazing. Otherwise, the stack is pretty awesome.

I got the head and a 1x12 cab. You might be better off with a 1x12 instead of a 1x10.
