I have found a guitar strap that I want but it's to short is there such a thing as an extender for it? I need a least 57" and it's 50" it's just a black strip of leather could I make one myself?

Thanks

Why do you need such a huge strap? 57" is nearly 5 feet long...

I used a shoe lace, bought strap locks, and tied it onto an extra readjustment slot, and then tied it in the strap lock. so if you want the standard 50", just put it on and then click the stap lock in. or the extension, just put the strap lock in. I use dunlop strap locks.

Because I'm six foot two and 258 lbs. I have four 60" straps fitted at 57"" I need that much to let the guitar hang down where it's comfortable to play

The shoe lace strap lock ideal was a good one Thanks GrayFox Long live Hideo Kojima

The Fender straps are super long. I know a practical giant, who plays with the Fender straps.

I also have hairy butt cheeks, I once shaved a letter 'W' on each cheek, so that when I bent over it spelled WoW.

I'm 6'4'' and have never had a problem with normal straps? How low do you play it?
