My guitar has a really bright metallic blue finish and finger prints show up really well, it's covered in finger prints at the moment and i'd like to clean them off, is there anything I can use on my guitar's body/finish to get rid of the finger prints?
My strings are also covered in gunk, what can I use on them as well?

change the strings and just take a microfiber cloth and some ernie ball polish which is like 5 bucks.

Take any cloth to wipe down your body, and you just need to replace your strings.

Just get some guitar polish for the guitar itself. For the strings (I know this sounds silly), boil them in a pot of water on the stove and then wipe them off with paper towels. I'm not even kidding. It will bring back so much more of the original tone of them. Try it, seriously.
