... for a good tube half-stack. Currently I'm using a Peavey Vypyr 15W and an Epiphone SG Special (I'll also get a new guitar). After getting new gear I want to start a band and stuff.
I play a lot of AC/DC, Metallica, Guns N' Roses, ZZ Top, Rage against the Machine, Audioslave and similar styles.
So, most of the sounds I like are from artists who play on Marshall amps and I thought I could save some money for a Marshall, also I like the sound of Marshalls.
But they are pretty expensive and people say they are really overpriced.
So could I do better with an amp and spend less money?

Here are the heads I could get for under 600€:
(Not my favorites, just what I could get from the stores where I live)
- Epiphone SoCal
- Fender Bandmaster VM
- Marshall Haze
- Orange Tiny Terror
- Peavey Valveking
- Peavey Windsor
- Randall RH50T
- Vox Night Train
Also I've seen a demo of the Bugera 6260 and I really like its sound, but I could only order it because none of the shops around here have any Bugera amps.

The Marshalls I would save up for would be one of those:
- Marshall JCM 2000 DSL 50
- Marshall Vintage Modern 2266
- Marshall JVM 205

So, is it worth saving up for one of those Marshalls?
Also which of the amps would fit best for me?

Ibanez 1987 Roadstar II Deluxe
Yamaha THR10X
Marshall JCM900 SL-X
Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon Wah

Isn't the peavey windsor supposed to be a JCM800 clone? If so, try one, if you like it, get it.

Hey, thanks that's a good idea. Although I have some bad experience with Peaveys...
Anyways, I think I'll try the Windsor and the DSL then.
