First post in this part of the forum.

I'm going to be selling my fender bassman reissue soon, great sound, too big. So I'll have around 1,100$ to spend on a new rig.

What are some good, low watt (15 or less would be best) tube amps for playing... anything. From Psycadelic to funk to metal (Porcupine Tree, Placebo, Rammstein, John Petrucci, John5, Red Hot Chili Peppers, P-Funk, King Crimson, and pretty much everything else. Even some hiphop.)

If money permits, I'm also looking for a good delay and a good o.d. and distortion for these styles of music. Any tips?

(I do have a job, funds subject to flexibility)

First you put your pants on your head.
Second you dance.
Third you wipe off all the pussy.

I recently got a Fender Blues Jr. Got some great tones today with my Boss Super OD, MXR Phase 90 and Boss Noise Reduction pedals. The 15 watts is great, you can crank it all the way
and get that awesome power tube overdrive. The stock speaker is a little weak, I upgraded to a Weber. I can also get good Metal tones with my Metal Muff, Chorus and Delay pedals in front of the amp. You will definately need pedals to get different tones beside good Fender clean and mild overdrive that "come with the amp".

I just tried the Vox Night Train out yesterday briefly. I was impressed. It seemed really versatile for a small, single channel amp head.
