pull straight up.

if you have difficulty grabbing them, wrap an old shoelace or summat under the knob and pull up on the ends of that.

dunno what the knobs on a Prodigy are like.

If they're like a Strat, same as a LP. Just pull.

If they're like a Tele, there's a setscrew on the side of the knob.
Loosen the screw and the knob slides right off.

stick a pick or two under the knob and pull them right off. Force is necessary.

This has a split shaft, yes?

You can spread the two halves apart with a screwdriver and the knob will stay on, but BE CAREFUL.
It's very easy to over-do it.
