First off - slow down. Don't try and play fast - just play at whatever speed you can play cleanly and accurately, however slow that is. Speed will come with time if you learn to play cleanly and accurately.

Can you get a teacher? That would help loads, as they'll be able to introduce you to stuff at a pace that suits you, without missing anything out. They'll also be able to give you feedback on a regular basis as to how you're doing, and correct any problems with your technique before you get in the habit of doing stuff wrong.
