Just bought some headphones that are meant for gaming, but it had a 3.5mm so I figured maybe it could work on my amp too but I plugged it in and all and it didn't work. Is this just to be expected?

Tried plugging in my crappy iPod headphones, work fine.

Edit: I'm so stupid. I've been plugging in the input into the input of my amp

Anyway, uh is running an overdriven amp through these headphones a good idea <_<

Why would you spend money on gaming headphones?

I think God hates you for being fiscally irresponsible

To be honest I bought these because I need headphones for my amp and I needed new gaming headphones anyway. It was either spend $50 on amp headphones, and $20 more on gaming headphones, or spend $60 on these and use them for both <_<

Uh I"m bumping this because my ears are kinda hurting but I"m not sure if its from the headphones or from the like little bass thumps I hear.

Like, when I play whenever my hand taps the strings I hear a bassy little thump and I'm worried that might damage my hearing. Its a very reasonable sound level so Idk.
