Hi everyone.

Tomorrow i'm going on holidays with my family, and we'll be staying in a couple of hotels.
I'll take my classical guitar with me (the electric guitar is too heavy and i'm afraid i might damage it during the trip).

The thing is, inside the hotel rooms i can't make much noise... And i don't really like to play with my fingers (i use a pick 99% of the time).
Is there an easy and simple way to attenuate the resonation of the classical guitar temporarily?

Just to use while i'm inside the room... On the beach, for example, i can make as much noise as i want!

Thank you all!

I can't think of anything else than putting a load of soft spongy stuff inside the soundhole of the guitar temporarily, like a few socks or something? Just an idea.

edit: i hope you have lots of socks

no i don't
And my guess is that it would be pretty hard to remove the socks afterwards...

put a peace of foam that is pretty thick under the strings and slide it to the bridge this will make it quiet

This looks perfect, but i don't think i can find one of those in time.
Maybe tomorrow, when we arrive in Lisbon, i could try to find an instrument shop...

This looks pretty doable. Thanks!

You pay for the room, a classial is not loud, don't even worry.

You have a point, but i'd rather not get into trouble...

Feedback Buster.. They're for cutting out feedback when you plug your acoustic in but they also work to mute the guitar a little.
