How long did you have your first amp? What was it? Post pics if possible, talk about your experiences with amps, what got you started, and how you found your tone, if applicable.

I still own my first amp. 10 watt SP-10. POS. lol.
Came in a starter set, has 3 knobs, and a distortion that sounds like radio feedback.
Can't wait to upgrade.

I had my first amp for 5 years and still do although I lent to a friend who teaches guitar and uses it. It's a Laney HCM10 and is actually a pretty decent amp for what it is. It has alright cleans and a pretty good drive channel.

marshall super lead? it was 15 watts and from the 80's. i ditched that and totally upgraded to the marshall valvestate 15, to piece of garbage. gave both of them away over time, got a music man 150 212hd that i have had for over 10 years now, good amp.

Marshall MG

I still have it. My Rebel 20 got lost in the shipping mix so i have to stick it out a bit longer. When I started, i liked it, now it just sounds digital and bad. The cleans are ok i guess. I don't use the drive, just my tubescreamer, but for me, that isn't enough. I hope my Rebel 20 comes soon.

I guess it counts as mine, but the first amp I used to play on for about a year was my dad's old Gorilla 1x10.

The first amp I actually got for myself was a Johnson Marquis 60 1x12. I've been thinking of converting it into a head... but I'm going to wait until I see what new cabinet I end up with.
I have a huge fear if rays.

40 Watt Peavey transtube 110 efx. Had it almost 5 years now. Still use it when a drummer gets involved. Loudest thing I have other then my PA and it doesn't sound to bad to just jam with friends.

I don't want to admit this . First Act 10 watt. I used it for a few months and then got a 15w Spider III. Spiders are much better then first act amps . I now have a mysterious tube amp (the labels were all taken off it but I think it's a Crate) and a Vox VT15 which I use most of the time. The first act amp I gave to my nephew and my Spider III is being borrowed by a coworker.
