My friend thinks that The Who (who played at Woodstock) think that they are more famous over Jimi Hendrix (who I think is more famous), so Pit, who do you think was the most famous musician in Woodstock?

Or you could answer the TS's question rather than come in here and flame an artist.

this is really stupid, there were alot of big names at Woodstock, the Who, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Canned Heat etc.

Seeing as Hendrix headlined the event, I would say that makes him the biggest artist at the festival

The Star Spangled Banner by Hendrix has to be the most recognizable part of Woodstock to people who aren't familiar with it.

Since he was comparing Hendrix and The Who I'd imagine he's talking about just '69.

the who was the most famous at the time of woodstock. Hendrix was pretty much unknown until his legendary set at woodstock.
