Hi,

I tried to publish a song with chords on top of the words, putting them exactly above the right word but when I preview the song, the chords don't stay at their place anymore. They move to the left a bit.

What is the technique to have chords exactly where you want them for publishing ?

Thanks for your help.

Use a font where each character takes up the same space, such as Courier.

Wow. I've made 4 chord tabs for UG and had to mess around with adding spaces after seeing them in preview, to get them aligned. Pretty sure I had Arial or Veranda as the font in notepad when I wrote them. If only I had known...

Don't quote me on that, but I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work. Until someone confirms it works though...

I tried it out. Courier and a few others work GREAT.
They looked the same it the UG tab interface as they did in the Notepad file.

These fonts seem to all work:

8514oem
Courier
Courier New
Fixedsys
Lucida Console
Lucida Sans Typewriter
MS Mincho
OCR A Extended
SimSun
Terminal

Thanks Dave.
