Squier Duo-Sonic. Two single coil pickups, 21 frets, basswood body, maple-on-maple neck. It's got to be the best Squier I've ever played, and besides that, it's just sexy

Beautiful guitar, but the pickups don't look very good, in my opinion.

It was the only task I would undertake...

Yeah, I'll probably be putting a Lace Sensor Red in the bridge, and a Lace Sensor Gold in the neck.

Sweet. It's mainly because they are the same color as the body. If you like them, keep them, but they wouldn't be my choice .

I thought you meant the sound

I actually like the way they match the body. The Lace Sensors are solid white, though so I don't know which I'll like better.

Squiers arent my thang.
but that is a really nice looking guitar bud.

I can't imagine anything worse than shagging to Mark Knopfler.

Maybe shagging Mark Knopfler, but that's about it.

Oh wow! That's incredible! Do you think if you popped a humbucker in the bridge it would do indie rock well? Because I'm liking what I'm seeing...

It's actually a very nice guitar. Super low action, no fret buzz. I have no complaints other than the pickups, which aren't *that* bad.

EDIT: I'll be leaving a single coil in the bridge, but it can do indie rock very well. I can dial in a near-perfect Vines sound with the bridge pickup.

'Course, indie rock isn't really my thing, I'll be using it for shoegaze

this is absolutely, 100% correct.

awesome. I really have to get off my ass to try those new classic vibe squiers, as they're meant to be great.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

That is one simple but extremely great looking guitar! And I bet it sounds interesting, too Congrats!

And btw, Lace Sensors are also available in cream. I suggest you look that up, cus ruining such an aesthetic balance would be a pity.
