I've been trying to find some German metal bands of any Power, Gothic or Symphonic metal out there. Ive also been trying to find some chick singers as well. I don't know if there is any other threads like this. Searched but couldn't find any. Um.... But yeah looking for any German or chick metal bands.... Both would even be a bonus! Thanks for whoever helps!!!!

I know the obvious would be Rammstein, if they are metal, I don't really listen too much to them....

Any others though? Maybe not ones most people know????

The chick singer part of your question is asked almost once every couple weeks. As for German bands,
Go to the metal archives and do a country search for germany

And even there, they only really have Destruction.

Sodom, you dolt.

Beyond 1986 they became pretty generic pretty quickly. Destruction progressed continuously from beginning to Cracked Brain, and some of their reunion stuff isn't bad relative to other modern thrash.

Sodom's self-titled album is badass, generic or not.

rly? I haven't heard their 94-97 albums yet, but ignoring those I'd put it ahead of only Teutonic whiffle like Agent Orange and Better Off Dead. Tapping the Vein did the generic-but-still-enjoyably-crushing thing the best.

Regardless, it matters not when considering how Destruction (and even Kreator) dominate them.

I'd take Sodom over Kreator. Mille Petroza's early vocals grate on me a bit. The riffs are good but not on the level of their contemporaries IMO.

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.
