Yellow+Black=Win

I don't really like the white volume knob... black would be better.

I like the Setup. 1 Humbucker, 1 Volume control. Simple

But I think I would have gone with a black volume knob.

Any pics of how it looked before?

Yes they are roller trees....soz i dont have any before pics but it was just a black strat ya know think squire...i like the contrast of the knob but each to there own...and yes it is my little 80's machine, i love playing my cheesy hair metal and tap solos on it haha

I couldn't stand the single humbucker. It would drive me insane.

Sweet Colour scheme though!
I also love how the white knob stands out.
Roller string trees are sweet too.

Your sure it's not Corsin?
I googled it, and it's Corsin. There was absolutely nothing on Orsin.

the unversitility would drive me insane aswell if i didnt have other guitars but luckily i has a couple so this is really just my 80's guitar.

and lol just google corsin and it came up with "These guitars are all over Ebay. Very low quality. Not recommended imo"

i never thought it was that bad

Awesome colour scheme +1!

I personally don't mind the white knob but it would fit better if there were 3 of them :P

If you don't mind me asking, what did the customization cost in total?

Looks amazing!
And for the lack of versatility thing, it's just a project guitar!
When it's a first guitar mod/customisation or whatever it should be something that you wouldn't normally pay for on a "new" guitar, something to experiment with like.
But yeah, great colour scheme, and I personally like the white knob.
Though a matching headstock would've been great.

I was going to do the same thing with my old epip strat. except purple sparkle. but ended up going back to H-s-s and black.

Love it, man! Everyone needs a good 80's style shred guitar in their arsenal. Welcome to the club
SLAP energy drinks ftw.

I like it. Don't change the knob to black, paint it yellow like the body. Keep the contrast and stay in the colour scheme.

cheers for the feedback...to answer some questions

I am now adamant on keeping the white knob

The project cost me $180AUS in total which is aboot 120-140US (not sure on exact #)

I was actually thinking of doing like a parker head on it and making that black but i was wondering if i could use the same string trees that are on a floyd guitar instead of having the two ones in the middle of the headstock

and hes the neck does have a very nice flame/curl thats odd on a chjeapo guitar pics soon

a retainer bar? can't see any problem with it. i reckon they look better that normal trees most of the time, and do the same job
