now im really noob when it comes to P.A system (never had one) and i know i need something to power (power amp) something to mix (mixer) and an output (speaker)

the mixer hes offering is worth 75$ new on musician friend....
can you record with this mixer?
is it worth it to get a cheap mixer like this one and buy better poweramp, speaker, mics?

the poweramp is worth 800$ new.... so im guessing ill have to throw alot of money in the trade?
is it worth it to throw that much in a poweramp?
would it fit in a home studio environement?

The speaker is worth about 250$ new....
so im guessing it is a fairly good speaker, wich is good since imo bad output = bad sound. but then again do i need that much ffor a home studio?

sorry if its not in the right forum.... but i cant post this anywhere else...

I've heard of a guitar with five colored frets, but they don't play well.
