Hello!

So here is the problem. I'm in love with 3 guitars. Fender jazzmaster , Fender Strat and Epi Casino. There's another problem. I'm from Croatia. There is almost no bloody chance to try a jazzmaster or a Casino here. Makes me cry...
So I was thinking, guitar that suitse me best is a strat. It's not heavy and the neck is beautiful. So I was thinking on putting some new tuners and pickups on it.
How would a Seymour duncan SP-90-1 or any other P90 sound on a strat? What do you think what tuners should I get?

I need suggestions please.

Thanks!

Hmm pickups- depends on the music you play. The P90s are a blues machine. I like the Seymour Duncan Hot rail for a single coil routing. What is your config- S-S-S? H-S-S? S-H-S? Gotta know that and the music you play.

As for tuners, I recommend the Spertzal Locking Tuners. Check www.stewmac.com for em. Should be 80 bucks

Thank you for replying!

Configuration is HSS. Music that I'm playing is: The Libertines, Babyshambles, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Strokes , White Stripes , Jimi Hendrix, The Clash... Mostly Indie rock , garage, bit of punk, bit of blues...

That tuners look nice

Hmm for that music I'd check out the Duncan Pearly Gates or the '59

The amp is Vox AC15.

So the P-90 wouldn't work out? From what I heard on youtube it sounds great...

The P-90 should work well. Nick Valensi from The Strokes uses P-94s.

I couldn't tell you about pickups, I just really don't know too much about that kind of music, sorry about that. As for the tuners, go with the locking grover tuners, I bought them for my Strat, and it stays in tune perfectly, is easier then any other tuner I have used to change the strings, and look cool overall.
