Can you connect two single coil sized humbuckers so that you get a... quad humbucker? What would happen and has anyone ever tried that? Looks like an interesting thing to try to me

i was thinking that myself, i cant see any problems, do u want them wired as two separate humbuckers or so there constantly wired together, like middle position HH,

if u want them together, simply wire them both to the same volume, and same tone pot. then to the same connectors on your 3 or 5 way switch

DirtyEdit: u mean hot rails by single coil sized humbuckers right?
Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

This is what I meant if you didn't understand..

EDIT: Yeah, quad rail is exactly what I was thinking about. Now, can you make quad rail single coil size and connect two of them....
