So in the coming month I am selling all of my cabinets to buy a Basson 4x12 for my Engl, meaning my VJ will be without a cabinet. I have a Behringer V-Amp 2x10 combo that I plan on turning into a cabinet for my Valve Junior.

My question is, is there any possible way I could use the amp part of the Behringer as kind of a multi-FX processor for my Valve Junior?
I was thinking, I could run my guitar into the FX loop of my Behringer, and then run that out to the input of my Valve Junior?

The only problem I can think of, is the Behringer frying itself since it wouldn't be connected to any speakers.

Basically I'm just trying to skimp out of buying a distortion pedal for my VJ.
