What are some of the sick, in a good way or bad, covers that you've heard in your musical lifetime.

I've heard a country version of Whiskey in the Jar that was terribly done, although I forget the artist. I know it was a folk song to begin with, but it was awful. I've heard a disgraceful country cover of Lips Of An Angel too.

On the other hand, All Time Low did a pretty good cover of Rhianna's Umbrella-link

and, Mayday Parade covered When I Grow Up by Girlicious Its.. different to say the least. link
call me Shelby

My "Sugar" and "Enjoy the Silence" covers on my profile /shameless plug

but seriously, I really love Tool's no Quarter cover, it really is a totally different song than the original.
The best cover I think I've seen was Umphrey's McGee playing Shine On You Crazy Diamond (8/1/08). Other top contenders would be...

Umphrey's McGee - Mean Mr. Mustard > Polythene Pam > She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (9/14/08)
Gov't Mule - Sugaree w/ Mike Gordon (Phish) on bass and Scott Murawski on guitar (8/9/08)
Galactic - Manic Depression w/ Corey Henry on trombone (4/19/09)
Particle - In The Flesh? (7/13/07)

But this isn't best or worst or favorite, or wanted,
This is just covers you find interesting, be they good or terrible

Same exact thing, with a different name.

Let's not sugar coat it.
