so i bought a behringer v-tone gmx210 about a year ago. Its worked fine this entire time, and the tone, power, and effects are awesome for the price. But everytime ive seen someone mention it, its been in a negative context. is there something I dont know about behringer amps?

behringer amps are generally low quality bad sounding amp. not to be confused with Bugera, which are good amps, although the qc is debatable.

This. Plus, I've heard Behringer overrates their amps' power ratings.
Only play what you hear. If you don’t hear anything, don’t play anything.

Never had a problem with Behringer.. And from what ive played, their bass amps are actually fairly beefy.

Ah, i cant personally comment on the bass amps but the guitar amps from what ive played are pretty bad.

well I mean i can get a better tone (imo) than my friends 75w 1x12 line 6 spider III. which i guess isnt saying much, but for 100 bucks less, a louder, better sounding (again, imo) amp is pretty awesome

there isnt much point comparing two bad amps, I dont fault them being ok as cheap starter amps, i mean you got to start somewhere, but they sell halfstacks and large combos which are simply subpar.
