I was offered a Kaossilator for my eBow today.
Should I go With the Trade?
I would love to have a tiny little oscillator on my guitar for some crazy little noisemaking effects and some fun synth solos.
I wanted to know if using a drill to put a hole on top connecting the mono RCA jack into the guitar cavity and wiring a 3 way mini toggle switch to go between...

Was a good idea or not.

Sorry

An Ebow is an electronix bow.
It uses electrontic frequencys to cause strings to sustain infinately.
It also fades in strings that aren't virbating at the moment.

An Oscillator is...

Oscilator sounds like it would be fun, but I think Ebows would be more useful.

Ryan, I know I always come off as a pessimist when I say this, but don't do it.
The Kaosscilator is a cool toy at first, but it gets boring because it is limited with the preset sounds. I would rather find a Kaoss pad instead (I know they're totally different) seeing how that would be a lot more practical and fun IMO.

[quote="'[BurnTheDusk"]']Boss pedals may be built like tanks but I would rather buy a cardboard box that is on my side than pay for a tank that is working against me.

Personally I have NO USE for the Ebow
I think i'm going to return it and get a Maxon 808 overdrive...
